SPOT has a strong core of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists to evaluate and treat neurological conditions…problems with the nervous system….the brain, spinal cord, muscles and nerves. SPOT’s team includes therapists with extensive experience and advanced certifications to provide exceptional personalized treatment for clients of all ages with temporary or chronic conditions.
Specialized certification include;
- the American Physical Therapy Specialist Certification in Neurology
- Multiple Sclerosis Specialist
- Brain Safe Certification
- Neuro Developmental Treatment Certification
- Dementia Specialist
These certifications, along with the years of experience in the core group provide a strong, dedicated interdisciplinary team. Neurological conditions treated at SPOT include , but are not limited to, ALS, Cerebral Palsy, Concussion, Traumatic Brain Injury, Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease and Stroke.
